Rossi makes his debut on Yamaha at Valencia test
Rossi back on Yamaha for Valencia test
Rossi is back in the Yamaha pit for the Valencia testing.
The first test for the 2013 MotoGP season was a bit affected due to initial cold weather and then due to rain. But the weather could not hamper the racing spirit of Rossi, who had a good time testing the bike.
Hope the year ahead is promising and bring great luck and success to the ‘Racing God’.

Rossi had a funny moment when the marshals tried to take away his bike after a low speed crash, the bike had suffered minimal damage and hence rossi wanted to get back on track.
Rossi finished 5th at the Malaysian GP on Sun 21st Oct 2012, in a very eventful race in extreme wet conditions.

Rossi pushed hard and finished 2nd on the podium at the San Marino circuit in Misano 2012. Ducati had made some good changes to the bike which helped rossi clinch the 2nd place. It was a proper way to pay tribute to Marco Simoncelli as Valentiono rossi finished second on the San Marino Marco Simoncelli circuit.
Lorenzo won the race followed by Rossi in second and Bautista in third position.
It was a big misfortune for Dani Pedrosa, as he was forced to start from the back of the grid after a false start, and then taken out of the race due to contact with Hector barbera.
Andrea Dovizioso joins Ducati for 2013 & 2014
Andrea Dovizioso has signed a two year contract with Ducati after Rossi signed contract with Yamaha for 2013 and 2014 MotoGP seasons. Dovizioso will be teaming up with Nicky Hayden who has also renewed his working contract for the next two years.

Rossi and Lorenzo to team up for 2013 and 2014 MotoGP Season
Yamaha has confirmed that Valentino rossi has signed a 2 year contract with them. This means that Rossi will be leaving Ducati by the end of this year and we can expect an action packed 2013 and 2014 MotoGP seasons, since Rossi has won 4 world championship titles in the premier class out of the total 7 during the 7 years he was with Yamaha factory racing MotoGP team.
Looking back at the relationship between the 2 team mates during the 2008, 2009 and 2010 seasons, we can surely expect a bit of friction between Lorenzo and Rossi, since Lorenzo has usually shown bitterness for the laters’s extraordinary racing skills . We still don’t know if there would be a wall separating both of their pits.
There would be lots of action to lookout for as the 2 world championship winners, Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo will be in the same team and compete for the same title. Both the team members of the ‘super team’ as called by Lin Jarvis, Managing director, Yamaha motor racing, will help contribute in further development of the YZR-M1 bike.
